For all those that are already familiar with our latest venture and for those that are hearing about us for the first time, we invite you to join us for a new first for our state, as well as a new way for us to not only enhance our membership in Osceola County, but a new way for Floridians to view Republicans as a whole. Yes, we call ourselves Latin Republicans, but we want EVERYONE there. This is NOT a club for Latinos only, but rather an Organization for all those that are sick and tired of HAND OUTS, BAILOUTS, MORE TAXES, NEW UNHEALTHY HEALTHS PROGRAMS, NEW UNNECESARY LAWS AND REGULATIONS AND MORE IMPORANT POOR EXCUSES.

Our Vision for the Future:

Our vision for the future is not very much different than our founding fathers have laid out for us in our U.S. Constitution. Clearly they wanted small government, less taxation and MORE FREEDOM! Many of our now former Presidents have promised “Listen to me, I know what I’m doing” and yet again the Constitution holds firm. With this new administration it’s just more of the same. More Clinton Tax Policies, more spending of monies that will have to be repaid by our great grandchildren, and more handouts and the violation of our Constitution on a daily basis.

I remember growing up in an Immigrant family as a child I was always told….”What the Government gives, it WILL eventually take away, and then bring you to your knees begging for help”!
The terrible part of this statement is that most times the ones on their knees are the poorest of the poor, the uneducated and YES, the immigrant.

Why do we as a people accept the same old same old? The simple answer is ITS EASIER THAN FIGHTING CITY HALL! Remember last year’s election? We (Latino’s specifically) were promised that if we gave our vote to Mr. Obama, he would jettison our Latino brethren to the highest of heights! We would see Latinos in positions of power, listen to the Latino, and understand and help those Latino’s who needed it. And what happened? Well if I have to tell you, you have been asleep for the past FIVE months.

Our organization IS NOT about handouts, bailouts AND EXCUSES. We are returning to our roots as Latinos, immigrants and as AMERICANS. Remember when your parents told you to do what you can to help others whenever possible? Or maybe you heard….”There but by the grace of God go I” from your grandmother. How about this one...Work hard to get what you want….or the newest phrase….Pay it FORWARD!

We want to FORGET the idea that because we are lucky enough to live here that we are ENTITLED to a handout or bailout, and when we can’t get one we accept excuses or we give them out when we fall short of doing the right thing. Our organization wants to stop the rhetoric and start something REAL, something that WE CAN BELIEVE IN! It’s not change, but rather doing the right thing whenever possible.

Thusly we are looking forward to starting small and building on an idea. The idea is if you give a person a fish…he eats for that day….we want to TEACH that person how to fish so that he can eat and provide forever!
Our vision is to offer services, classes, food and clothing to those that need it in our community here in Osceola County, across the State of Florida and eventually all over the USA.

So you might ask yourself, how this will help my fellow Latinos, immigrants and anyone else that needs us. It’s very simple….say you are an unwed teen mother…you want to take a class to help you learn how to cook nutritious foods for your child as well as use our community food bank.

All we ask is that you volunteer by either teaching a class on say abstinence to young teens, or maybe you have a skill….like you are proficient with a computer…..you can teach a class or help in a class for those that want to learn the skill of computing.

We will not just be offering a service to our community but also be LEADING by example. Showing those that may have been on the dole for years from the government a new way to live.

We will be showing those that need us that by getting, they can give back to someone just like them. What does this do for our community? It teaches those in need that they are NOT powerless! They have the tools to change their fortunes, and that they are worth MORE than a check every month from the government!

They can make a difference in their community and remember the best part……they got a hand UP not a hand out!

Our idea is this: Who do you remember more….the person that asks you to fill out a form and wait for help….or the Organization that actually HELPED you that day …that moment…?

We envision an organization that will offer classes in computers, family services or life skills, help you to obtain your GED and even a scholarship.

A full service facility that offers a plethora of assistance to anyone that needs it. Now I know you’re wondering just how this helps the Latin Republican Organization. Let me break it down for you.

In these most recent elections here in the State of Florida overwhelmingly the Latino vote was for Mr. Obama. Why is this? The answer is very simple. If I tell you I’m going to give you the stars if you will just be my friend, more than likely you are going to vote for me. I’m a good guy right? I’m going to give you everything you will need….food….money….a new future.

How many of us are from Cuba…South America….Europe…..? Does this sound like familiar rhetoric to you? Let’s see…..Castro promised the Cubans the world…and gave them abstract poverty…..Chavez offered his people more help than they could ever dream of and look what they are now getting…..poverty…oppression and an unsettling future……Mussolini offered the Italians a wonderful new country where everyone shared the wealth…they got oppression….starvation…and in the end…World War II.

As my immigrant father said…and I must reiterate……The government givith….but they also taketh away…and when they do they will bring you to your knees! We want our younger generation to understand that, and the older generations to REMEMBER THAT!
Anytime a person of power offers you the world….you can guarantee he or she will not deliver on those promises and in the end he or she WILL bring you to your knees.

We want to position the Latin Republicans as an organization FOR THE PEOPLE…BY THE PEOPLE…no hand outs…just hand ups! We can change our fortunes in this next elections by showing those in need out there that it’s NOT the REPUBLICANS that got them into these current problems……we are the party Of the People…all colors…all races…welcoming all to come and HELP THEMSELVES!

We want them to understand one real truth….when you help YOURSELF no one can take that away from you. You did it yourself…no government can take away your empowerment….AND….guess who told you how to do it….the Latin Republicans!

Come voting day….THEY WILL REMEMBER WHO WE ARE….and who REALLY helped them when they needed it the most.
We live in very hard times…businesses are shutting down….people are losing their homes….families are having real difficulties….WE CAN EFFECT A CHANGE in our community!

We can make a name for ourselves…..for our party….for our Country! It’s the most American thing that we as a party can do.

Most of us do not remember the depression….but I remember my grandfather telling me about how everyone in the neighborhood knew who didn’t have a job…knew who was hungry or needed some coal to keep the house a little warmer….the neighbors that had a little…gave it to their neighbor….fed those that were hungry in their neighborhood….that’s how the POT LUCK dinner got started…..everyone brought over left over’s and the neighbors had an impromptu party….sharing and caring for themselves! We CAN do this….and WE can change our fortunes come this next election….if we work hard….IT CAN HAPPEN!

We want to invite EVERYONE to our very first Latin Republican Fund Raising on October 10, 2009 in Downtown Kissimmee.

A Latin Cook-off, we have many supporters already, but now we need your support, our elected officials and all our Candidates to be there showing the community that you do care, we are not just talking about our local officials in Kissimmee, we are talking about every single official and Candidate in the State of Florida, we want the media to see all of us working together as a team.
Remember there is no “I” in team.

After all the next election cycle is just around the corner, we want to show our community the Real Republican Party, as many people have told us in the past Republicans are for the rich people only, we want to prove them WRONG.

We want input from everyone! We want ALL to attend and help us help our party and our community! We look forward to seeing you there….ready to WORK! This is a large project BUT hey we are Republicans and we CAN DO IT!
